The IFHP World Summit will be held this year 9-12 October in Copenhagen. More information will follow shortly. In connection with the World Summit, the Ordinary Council Meeting will be held.
In accordance with the IFHP Articles of Association No. 13, the IFHP President would like to announce the 2019 Ordinary Council Meeting and call the Council to convene in Copenhagen on Wednesday 9 October 2019 from 8 to 10 am.

Ms. Nina von Lachmann Steensen becomes new Head of Secretariat for the International Federation for Housing and Planning
The International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP) is pleased to announce that Ms. Nina von Lachmann Steensen has assumed the role as Head of Secretariat in June 2019.
Expressing his contentment, IFHP CEO Morten Nielsen welcomed Ms. Nina Steensen in her new role:
IFHP on the ULI Stage – Adaptability; Availability; Affordability: The Triple A of Housing Configurations
Changes in housing configurations are a growing challenge for cities, and is top of mind for the European Residential Product Council at the Urban Land Institute (ULI), who at their recent convening in Copenhagen, hosted by Rambøll, sourced input from the Copenhagen context. Here Director: International Affairs at IFHP, Regitze Hess shared thoughts on housing adaptability, availability and affordability as essential to “Housing for All” and an ongoing concern for IFHP.
How can the future of planning, development and scenario building in cities benefit from a fact-based insight into the well-being and social sustainability of a city? And how can these insights be applied as an integral part of urban planning, development policies, strategies, and future scenarios for cities?

Invitation: Come see Climate Ambassadors present the future of Copenhagen to the Mayor of Technology and Environment
The IFHP would like to invite all interested Danish speakers in our network to participate in the final event of this year's Climate Ambassadors Programme, where the young Student Climate Ambassadors will present their solutions to the Mayor of the Technological and Environmental Administration of Copenhagen.

The International Federation for Housing & Planning (IFHP) had the pleasure on May 9th 2019, to act as facilitator and jury member, when the Copenhagen Municipality led "Climate Ambassador Programme" held a workshop for approximately 25 young Climate Ambassadors.
